Skyline Chili with Anni Metz

Even though the first day of our trip did not give us the history we were hoping for, our journey still started on a positive note. A big thank you must first go out to Anni Metz, our good friend from Valparaiso, who not only showed up at the game and sat two sections from our seats, but also treated each of us to world famous Skyline Chili. A good Cincinnatian(?), Anni was not about to let the three of us leave Cincinnati without a taste of the city's finest dish. The chili was as delectable as we expected it to be and even better because we enjoyed it at a baseball game. Food always tastes better if it is enjoyed at a baseball game. And also if it's free. Trust me on this.

As you can see, Josh couldn't even wait to pose for a picture before scarfing down his chili. Hard to blame him though. So a big thank you to Ms. Metz for keeping us company and keeping our bellies full. Hopefully this free food thing will continue as we move up the east coast.

Thanks for taking Mizbee along on the baseball tour, guys! Can't wait to see what happens next. Also, please inform Colin that he has to keep his shirt on from now on. There are ladies along for the ride! ;)

1. i beg to differ. mint chocolate chip ice cream from graeters is cincinnati's finest dish, but unfortunately they don't sell that at the ballpark. so you had to settle for 2nd best.
2. i presume that parking on the street for free turned out to be a good decision...?
